Johnny Cannizzaro

Johnny Cannizzaro is a multifaceted actor and writer from Brooklyn New York. He has appeared in television series such as Matlock (CBS), Quantum Leap (NBC), Criminal Minds: Evolution (Paramount+), The Rookie (ABC), New Amsterdam (NBC), NCIS: Hawai'i (CBS) and S.W.A.T. (CBS). He also appeared in the film adaptation of Jersey Boys, directed by Clint Eastwood.

Johnny is motivated by the emotional impact that storytelling can have on people's lives. Marked by a passion to breathe life into characters with depth and nuance, Johnny considers himself fortunate to be working consistently as an actor.

Born in Bensonhurst Brooklyn and raised about twenty miles outside of New York City in Holmdel New Jersey, Johnny spent his adolescent years acting in musicals, taking dance classes and studying the piano.

As a writer, his characters resonate with sincerity and relatability, finding true expression in the narratives he crafts. Johnny enjoys exploring the intricacies of the human experience, weaving tales that are intended to linger in the hearts and minds of readers.
